The site is set in picturesque, peaceful woodlands, in the middle of the Gower Peninsular. The Gower is renowned for its outstanding beauty and award winning beaches, along with Swansea Bay, it is blessed with 5 Blue Flag beaches- Bracelet Bay, Caswell Bay, Langland Bay, Port Eynon and Rhossilli. The area also has 5 Green Coast Awards- Limeslade, Pwll Du, Mewslade, Tor Bay and Rhosilli. Rhosilli has just been voted the best British beach 2013, and 9th in the world ! The lovely Port Eynon was voted the best British beach 2011. In all, there are 15 beaches all within 30 minutes drive of Blackhills. The site is just 10 minutes drive from Langland Bay, Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs. Rhossilli, Port Eynon, and Mumbles with its chic boutiques, are also nearby. The city centre of Swansea with its marina, multiplex and water-park are a 15 minute drive away.

The caravan is 6 berth with two bedrooms, it has veranda which catches the sun all day. It is a quiet family run site, suitable for families and couples who are looking for a relaxing holiday, ideal for walking and cycling. There are woodland walks in the vicinity. Nearby facilities include pony trekking, helicopter flights, and for the golfers, there are three championship courses all within a three mile radius. Fairwood golf course and club house next door , welcomes visitors.

Gas and electricity included in rates. Pillows and duvets supplied, you will need to bring your own sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and towels.
