Owner Description
Roly’s Retreat is a 2007 BK-Bluebird Sheraton. 38ft long 12ft wide.
We’re situated in Well’s View, which is a short walk from the entertainment complex. It’s a quiet area, with a designated parking bay right in front of the van. Just to the right there’s a hedge which makes the area to the side of the caravan more private. There’s plenty of space to the side, and the steps up to the door have a handrail and are non-slip.
Even though it isn’t the youngest van on the block, it has been maintained beautifully. It is double glazed and centrally heated throughout. It’s a home from home ??
The master bedroom has a comfortable memory foam double bed, masses of storage, a small flatscreen tv with freeview and dvd player and has an en-suite toilet. Alarm clock, hairdryer & hair straighteners provided.
The second bedroom is a twin room, in which the beds are not fixed so can be easily pushed together to make a double. There is plenty of storage space and an alarm clock is provided.
The bathroom is a good size with storage and an added handrail to aid in getting in and out of the shower, especially useful if you have restricted mobility. The shower itself is of a good size and has very good pressure and temperature.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. All crockery, utensils and glasses are provided. All the usual kitchen electricals including kettle, toaster, George Foreman grill and sandwich toaster. There’s also a wine rack!
Also provided is an iron, ironing board and various cleaning materials should you need them. (Mop, carpet sweeper, dustpan etc)
The dining table seats 4, and is separated from the main living area. There’s a full set of coasters provided.
In the living area there is a 2 seater sofa bed and 2 one seater armchair. 32inch tv with DVD player built in. There is a Bluetooth soundbar so you can stream your music (added since pictures taken). There is also an electric fan fire with flame effect that can be on even without heat. If you’re a bit too warm, there is a ceiling fan to help on those warm summer days.
The 2 seater sofa is a sofabed, which comes in handy. I would say its more of a large single than a double. The coffee tale is very easily moved to allow for unfolding of sofa bed. It’s a very sturdy metal action bed. There is an extra duvet for this bed, stored in the main bedroom.
The van is equipped with wifi (mobile broadband) which is included in the cost of your holiday. Login and password details will be provided in the welcome folder in the caravan.
The large patio doors open out onto the front enclosed decking. There will be pictures of this available shortly as the work is currently being carried out.
All gas and electricity is included in the cost of your booking. Duvets and pillows are provided, you just need to bring your own linen and towels. The wifi is also included and is unlimited so feel free to stream to your hearts content!
Booking Terms
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £50 per week is required at the time of booking to secure your holiday.
Damage deposit
A £50 damage levy will be added to your total holiday cost and refunded to you within 7 days of your holiday ending, providing there has been no damage to the caravan or its contents, and that there has been no smoking inside the caravan. The caravan will be checked on the day of your departure.
Balance
The balance is payable 6 weeks before the commencement of your holiday.
Haven Fun Pass not included in price. You can buy these direct from Haven reception on arrival if required.
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation, the following charges apply.
Numbers of days in advance of holiday start date cancellation charges are payable
1.Cancel 43 days before or more, you get back what you have paid, minus the deposit
2.Cancel 29-42 days before you lose 50% of the total holiday cost
3. Cancel 28 days or less you lose 100% of money paid
Arrival and Departure
The caravan will be available from 2.00pm at the start day of your holiday. The park will not issue you with the keys before this time to allow our cleaner time to clean and check the caravan. Please leave the caravan by 10.00am on your day of departure.
Accommodation
The caravan may only be used by the people named on the booking form.
Smoking is not permitted in the caravan. We operate a total no smoking policy anywhere inside of our caravan. If you do wish to smoke, please do so outside either on the decking or at the side of the caravan. If you’re smoking on the veranda, please ensure the door is closed. Upon your departure our cleaner will contact us if she smells any smoke within the van, and you may lose your £50 damage deposit. Please ensure you also dispose of any cigarette ends before you depart. There is a dustpan and brush under the sink should you need it.
The caravan must be left clean and tidy. The cost of any breakages or loss will be deducted from the damage deposit.
Please respect other guests and caravan owners especially when returning to the caravan late at night by keeping noise to a minimum.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in caravan nor on the site in general.
Bedding
We provide quilts and pillows, you need your own bed linen and towels.
The Site
As Burnham-on-Sea is a family holiday park, we are unable to accept bookings from young singles male/female parties.
Liability
We DO NOT accept liability for injury, loss or damage suffered by you or any member of your party during your stay in our caravan.
Payment
Payment can be made by cheque, paypal or bank transfer. When we confirm your booking we will provide an invoice with a unique number. Please use this number on all payments and correspondence to enable us to track your booking.
