This privately owned caravan on Brynowen Holiday Park, Borth, West Wales is a 37ft x 12ft Pemberton Sovereign Disabled Access 6 berth caravan comprising 2 bedrooms, lounge, adapted kitchen and wet room/toilet.
Even though this is an adapted caravan, those without mobility issues are welcome too. As the caravan has easy access with a ramp and internal features such as a wide hallway and sliding doors, the layout makes life so much easier for pushchairs and wheelchairs alike.
The lounge is spacious and has upholstered wrap-around seating incorporating a pull-out double sofa bed. There is a flame-effect fire, Freeview TV with built-in DVD player and a selection of family DVD's, CD's, books and games.
The 1st bedroom is large with a freestanding double bed and bedside tables which you are welcome to move around for easier wheelchair access. There is a trapeze handle sited above the bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. All beds have space underneath for hoist access.
The well equipped kitchen has a gas oven with separate grill, 4-burner gas hob, microwave, fridge with a small icebox freezer, storage and lowered sink/draining board/work area with space underneath for a wheelchair user.
The wet room/toilet has an accessible sink, level access wheel-in shower, fold down shower seat and several grab rails.
We can also provide free of charge, bed raising feet for the main double bed, a wheeled shower chair and a raised toilet seat.
The caravan is central heated throughout and double glazed. Bed linen and tea-towels are provided but you will need to bring your own towels and toiletries.
Cleaning products & equipment are provided along with an iron, ironing board and hairdryer.
There are many facilities on site most of which require a Park entertainment pass. These are not included but are obtainable from reception. These facilities are subject to seasonal opening hours.(Easter - end October)
Children are welcome.
No pets allowed except assistance dogs
No smoking though electronic cigarettes are acceptable.
Due to this being a family site, same sex/non family groups e.g. hen/stag parties are not permitted.
I reserve the right to refuse any booking.
The site is within easy reach of the village with its beach, shops, pubs/restaurants etc.
The bus-stop is directly outside the caravan park entrance with regular buses to and from Aberystwyth town and railway station. Borth railway station is approximately 1 mile away.
