Situated on the Hampshire / Dorset Border ours is a family owned caravan.
On the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park and only a short drive to many or Dorset's blue flag Beaches we are ideally situated should you want pleasant Woodland Walks or to see the many wonderful attractions this area has to offer including some of the best beaches in the UK.

So why book with us?

Ours is a family owned, three-bedroom caravan that we have decided to rent out when the family are not using it. Our grandchildren love a caravan break and so we have lots of experience as to what they love and what they hate. But we mustn’t forget Mum and Dad, so if you fancy a cheeky midweek or even a weekend away, just give us a ring - we may be able to help!

You are booking for up to six people, but we can accommodate up to eight for a small supplement if you use the pull-out bed in the lounge.

Renting from us means that you can make good savings compared with renting from the bigger companies and receive a much friendlier and personal experience whilst still enjoying everything that Oakdene Forest Park has to offer.

We are entering our third season renting and so far, had a 100% positive feedback from our guests with many booking for their next stay before leaving from this one!
We always replace anything that has needs to be changed on a regular basis so the van is still in excellent condition throughout from the cutlery to the microwave, kettle, toaster and everything else right down to all those little things that hopefully will make your stay more enjoyable.

Linen can also now be supplied if required for a small extra charge.

We also now have a SMART TV with a DVD player so you can bring your favourite DVDs but there is a large selection supplied should you not want to go out.
SKY TV is now also included FREE OF CHARGE!! with SPORTS, FILMS and KIDS channels also included.
There is also FREE!! Wi-Fi connection too, and after listening to our guests we have upgraded the WIFI to superfast so everyone should be able to surf without problems, which is a vast improvement on most rental caravans on this site who rely upon the SHOREFIELD WI-FI.
We also have some wall sockets with USB charging so you can keep all your phones and tablets going.

Because we use the caravan ourselves, everything is kept up to a very good standard and there are lots of homely touches. We consider our caravan to be a cosy home from home with everything you need, from the welcoming gas fire and central heating for those chilly evenings, to a selection of board games and a Wii with a couple of games to keep the children happy should you fancy a night in - or in the unlikely event that it rains and you can’t be bothered to brave going out!

The combi gas boiler means constant hot water so everyone can have a shower without having to wait for the water to heat up; great for when you are in a rush to get to the clubhouse for your night out. Please note that we don’t supply towels (except tea towels).

We want you to have an enjoyable and stress free holiday and we know what it's like when you sometimes get stuck in traffic, so we supply some complementary tea, coffee and milk, plus hot chocolate for the children and a few biscuits so that you can have a cuppa as soon as you arrive - and a loo roll just in case!

Although we don't have any pets ourselves, we are pet friendly as long as they are friendly and house-trained pets, but please inform us if you intend to bring one with you.

Although the caravan is situated just a two-minute walk from the clubhouse, there is very little noise from the entertainment. The pathways are well lit for those late evening strolls home from the clubhouse, which offers a vast array of activities for every age group, from the kiddies club staring Cecil and Cyble and Pat the Pony to GO OUTDOOR activities for the older children, which includes rock climbing, archery and much, much more (approximately 30 activities). The evening entertainment is of a good standard with something for everyone, including the ever-popular Bingo! and children's prize Bingo gets the evening off to a great start.

Oakdene Forest Holiday Park facilities include: Entertainment Club; Bar with Sports TV; Arcade; Two Pools, one with sauna and steam room, water slide and lots of activities, plus a children's pool; crazy golf; kids' club; Go Active for the bigger kids with rock wall, archery and many more; grocery shop; takeaway; restaurant and evening entertainment.

There is a shop on site, but just a few minutes away are a Lidl, a large Sainsbury’s and a McDonald’s. Less than ten minutes away is a large Tesco, an M&S food hall and a big Morrison’s, plus lots of restaurants and takeaways that will deliver if you fancy a night off from cooking.

It's only a short drive to lots of local attractions too; Bournemouth Beach and the famous Sandbanks are within easy reach, as is the magnificent New Forest, Moors Valley Country Park and the historic towns of Wimborne, Christchurch and Burley.
